The Knowledge Junction General Terms and Conditions:  

For the purposes of this agreement, The Knowledge Junction and it’s representatives will be referred to as TKJ or the Provider. Client refers to all individuals whom book or engage with TKJ products and services. This includes but it’s not limited to parents, families, ECEC providers and educators.  


  1. All TKJ products and services are subject to availability. TKJ products and services refers to but not limited to: 


  1. Online parent education subscriptions


  2. Online (Live and Pre-Recorded) Education Modules  

    Online and Face-to-Face Programs for kids  

  3. Playgroups 


  1. Affiliate Marketing and Blogs 

  1. Merchandise  

  1. Passive Income Products  

  1. Merchandise 

  1. Cut Mugs 

  1. Resource Kits 

  1. Downloadable resources (ebooks, templates, posters, fact sheets)  

  1. Podcast 

  1. Consultancy 


  1. Bookings for any TKJ product or service will not be accepted without payment. Places are allocated according to the date that payments are received by The Knowledge Junction, unless specified otherwise. (Information concerning remaining places in any product or service does not guarantee a place, as that information is subject to continual change). 

  1. All bookings of developed products and services are non-refundable, TKJ Pty Ltd are not responsible or liable  for individual change of circumstance.  

  1. Pre sale products available on The Knowledge Junctions website are yet to be fully developed and launched. Clients understand that by purchasing the heavily discounted pre sale product the course may not be finalised and launched for between 3-12 months. Pre sale products development are subject to client interest and are developed in accordance with to meeting minimum  pre sale bookings number. Should a client book a pre sale product that will has not met minimum booking numbers, the client will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer the booking to another TKJ product or service.  

  1. If a product or service is cancelled, please refer to terms outlined in item 8 (eight). 

  1. TKJ Pty Ltd will always undertake all necessary precautions and endeavours to proceed with a product or service as advertised.  

Please also note that products and services are not confirmed as proceeding until clients have been sent confirmation notification in writing. Some products or services may have specific registration periods, this will be specified if and where applicable.  

  1. TKJ agrees to provide all essential resources and guidance to facilitate all products and services    provided to clients. 

  1. TKJ agrees to provide advanced notice of space and resource requirements that the client is required to provide/prepare prior to arriving for service provision. 

  1. TKJ Pty Ltd has no liability for any associated expenses related to a client’s attendance with an TKJ  Pty Ltd product or service.  

  1. Where necessary for the course, TKJ Pty Ltd agrees to provide a safe space for all clients to attend and provide booked products and services.  

  1. If the product or service TKJ Pty Ltd is delivered offsite for private bookings, the client agrees to provide a safe space for TKJ Pty Ltd representatives, and the provision of sufficient space and resources as requested/where required.  

  1. TKJ Pty Ltd waives responsibility for the safety of clients chosen space for engaging in online products and services. TKJ PTY LTD is not liable for any risks associated with activities completed by clients in their environment of choice, nor their choice of product. Client safety has been considered within the information provided, however tkj pty Ltd hold no liability for damages, injuries or other harm. 

  1. TKJ Pty Ltd reserve the right to cancel scheduled products and services. The client understands the cancellation requirements for the services and supports rendered and agrees to these terms and conditions. 

  1. The client understands that TKJ Pty Ltd reserve the right, to postpone, reschedule or cancel products and services if conditions warrant it or otherwise at TKJ Pty Ltd’s discretion.  

  1. Products and services are subject to cancellation at TKJ Pty Ltd discretion if minimum booking numbers are not met.  

  1. Clients for the products and services will be notified of cancellation as soon as practical  

  1. If a scheduled products and services can no longer go ahead on the proposed date, it will be postponed, or transferred to an alternative date where possible and participants registration fees will be transferred.  

  1. Registration fees can be transferred to another products and services by the client in these circumstances where applicable and subject to TKJ Pty Ltd discretion.  

  1. If the products and services are cancelled by the client, the registration fee is non refundable 

  1. If the products and services are cancelled by TKJ Pty LTD, the client may request a refund or transfer their registration to another products and services of the same amount. 

  1. The client acknowledges that if they believe activity conditions are unsafe, they will immediately discontinue participating in the activity. 

  1. The clients are responsible for their own boundaries, well-being, and waive our responsibility to know individuals needs. All activities are in the best interest of all but may affect individuals with different and/or unknown needs adversely.  

  1.  As a client, you recognize that your participation, and/or involvement at any products and services is voluntary and assume all risks associated with your participation at the activity, TKJ Pty Ltd will not be responsible for any personal risk, and client are deemed to have given a full release of liability to TKJ Pty Ltd to the fullest extent permitted by law.  

  1. The clients acknowledge that they are doing so at their own risk. 

  1. The clients understand the nature of the activities. 

  1. The clients expressly assume and accept sole responsibility for their safety and for any changes that may occur. 

  1. The clients agree to discharge, hold harmless and covenant not to sue TKJ Pty Ltd, its respective director, members, employees, and representatives from all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, arising out of or connected to client’s participation in any and all activities. 

  1. The client indemnifies, release and hold harmless TKJ Pty Ltd (including owners, employees, assistants, shareholders, and partners) against all claims, actions, suits, demands and expenses, including all legal and medical expenses in any way arising out of the use of TKJ Pty Ltd equipment and services. 

  1. The client understands that they are individually responsible for accessing TKJ products and services, and that TKJ Pty Ltd is not responsible for ensuring that clients have access to the correct equipment or resources (laptop, internet, transportation etc)  

  1. If a client’s access to TKJ Pty Ltd products and services is limited or prevented based on lack of access or possession to required resources, TKJ Pty Ltd is not liable, and refunds will not be issued.  

  1. In products and services of prerequisites for events, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure these are met prior to making a booking.  

  1. Certificates of attendance will be provided to clients and reflect the hours contributed by the client to products and services.  

a) The client agrees and understand that unless specified otherwise products and services are not accredited or enable provision for certification.  

  1. TKJ Pty Ltd will ensure that all products and services are developed and delivered by suitably qualified and experienced individuals who have obtained all required qualifications and certifications.  

  1. The client agrees and understands that the advice provided during these services are  general in nature. The responses to any  questions asked reflect the event faciliators  professional opinion and this is shared with no prior knowledge to  individuals circumstances. TKJ Pty Ltd is not liable nor responsible for the way in which the opinions or advice shared by the facilitator in products and services are used or interpreted by clients. 

  1. TKJ Pty Ltd holds public liability insurance and in the circumstance or private bookings by other organisations, the client agrees that the other party also holds current public liability.  

  1. The client agrees for any products and services that involve practical activities that they are responsible for their participation in these activities and for personally navigating any physical or psychological limitations they may posses. 

  1. The client agrees to engage in these activities at their own discretion and risk. 

  1. By registering for any TKJ Pty Ltd products and services, clients provide consent to TKJ Pty Ltd to use their comments/responses, or any photographs/images taken of them for their publications and associated media and marketing channels; that is, appropriate use only for the everyday business of The Knowledge Junction Pty Ltd. If a client does not consent, it is their duty to inform the TKJ in writing. 

  1. By registering for any TKJ Pty Ltd products and services, clients provide consent to the TKJ Pty Ltd to capture their questions and comments/responses for possible recordings that may be published on TKJ Pty Ltd online learning platform. If a client does not consent, it is their duty to inform TKJ Pty Ltd in writing prior to the course commencing. 

  1. Clients are not permitted to take photos/video/audio recordings of any other subject (clients/presenter etc.) at TKJ Pty Ltd products and services (nor share them via social media or other channels) without direct and written consent. 

  1. The Client’s mandated child ratios remain their responsibility to manage, and the responsibility does not fall to TKJ 

  1. The Client agrees to provide adequate staff to support all groups and programs run by TKJ 

  1. The Client agrees that a representative of their organisation will accompany or be available to a TKJ staff member at all times the TKJ is on site at their facility.  

  1. A TKJ team member is not to be left unsupervised with a client unless they are administering an assessment or screener. At these times, the TKJ team member is required to have easy access to a representative of the Client. 

  1. The Knowledge Junction team members are not responsible for the supervision of children when they attend your site. 

  1. TKJ agrees to provide the Client with marketing materials for their online platforms and reception area to support awareness of agreed programs within their services. The Client agrees to provide their clients with this information, and display provided resources in appropriate and ‘eye catching’ locations 

  1. The Client agrees to provide a brief safety orientation to any member of TKJ attending the service to provide supports to clients and/or employees of the Client 

  1. TKJ agrees to provide: 

  1. Information on the team member attending the Client’s Facility, including their qualifications and cleared working with children’s check 

  1. A qualified team member where one is required, with a current professional registration 

  1. A highly skills and trained team member, who is confident and capable of completing the agreed upon services 

  1. All agreed reports and paperwork to both the Client as deemed necessary for the type of service delivery or as agreed 

  1. Travel costs may incur for face to face services delivered outside of a 10km radius from the CBD of Penrith NSW.  

  1. If your service is outside of this radius a ‘hub’ may be established within your local area with other local services if this occurs a travel fee will not apply.  

  1. This is at TKJ discretion and cannot be guaranteed.  

  1. The Knowledge Junction permits for our logo to be used for your centres marketing and advertisement. You also agree that The Knowledge Junction will be permitted to do the same with your service logo.  

  1. TKJ and the Collaborative Provider agree to share all marketing material where the others logo, branding or business name is used with the other 

  1. Both parties agree to amend or remove any content where the other party registers a concern and requests for this to be completed 

  1. TKJ permits for our team members to be photographed onsite and for there photos to be distributed for your service marketing purposes. You also agree that The Knowledge Junction can take photos of your service and of your staff for the same purpose and that these photos may be used on our website and social media.  

  1. Both parties agree to inform the other of marketing and social media content involving the other service, and to make amendments and adjustments. 

  1. Both TKJ Pty Ltd and the client agree to establish and maintain privacy and confidentiality when delivering and engaging with products and services. TKJ Pty Ltd will protect the privacy and confidentiality of the client. The client is responsible for maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of all co – attendees and TKJ Pty Ltd.  

  1. The client agrees to engage with TKJ Pty Ltd products and services with respect, fairness, and kindness. If the client’s participation with products and services is ceased at TKJ Pty Ltd discretion, the clients’ fees remain non-refundable.  

a. In the event of a private/corporate services booking the organisation assumes full responsibility for the engagement and behaviour of their employees.  

  1. Clients are required and agree to provide an honest and fair review of their experience and engagement with all products and services provided by TKJ Pty Ltd.  

  1. TKJ PTY LTD reserves the right to update our terms and conditions as required. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that have thoroughly read and understood the terms and conditions prior to acceptance and proceeding with tkj products and services.

    We encourage you to:  

    • Engage with the content and the community members.  

    • Post questions and start discussions on any topics relating to your parenting experience or early development. 

    • Upload a profile photo and building connections in the community.  


    • Share your insights and experiences.  

    • Offer kindness, compassion and empathy. 

    • Communicate and engage within the community respectfully. 

    • Communicate honestly and openly. 

    • Respect the privacy of other community members.  


    • Utilise the TKJ team for support whenever you need it.

    We want Thrive to be a safe space for everyone, where we all feel heard, included and supported and most importantly advocate for children and their safety. To keep our community safe, we expect that you: 

    • Will not share posts, conversations or content from Thrive outside of this community without permission. 

    • Will not share private or personal information about yourself or others. 


    • Refrain from posting irrelevant content or comments.  

    • Refrain from passing judgements or hurtful opinions, if you can’t think of anything nice to say, please keep it to yourself.  

    • Treat other community members with respect and civility, even if you disagree. 

    • Do not make personal attacks on other community members. 

    • Do not make defamatory remarks or false statements against others. 

    • Do not post prejudiced comments or profanity. 

    • Do not post or share content or comments that are racist, sexist or discriminatory in any way. Offensive behaviour is not tolerated.  

    • Respect that Thrive is an evidence based parenting support community and please do not share or advocate for misleading information or recommendations.  

     


    The safety and wellbeing of Thrive community members is a priority to The Knowledge Junction. The Thrive collaborative parenting platform is a place for our community to feel supported and empowered. In the event of someone violating community rules and/or guidelines, we wiltake action to protect other members of the community. This might include a warning oin the event of extreme or repeabehaviour, the member may be banned from the community.
